Dirty Sexy Money: The Lions
This show managed to live up to the pilot and we had another great episode. This is one I’m committed to watching. Awesome.
Top Chef: Finalized Part II (Season Finale)
Though I’m a little disappointed that Casey wasn’t quite good enough and that Dale had one disastrous dish, it does finally come about that Hung lives up to his confidence.

Reaper: Pilot (Series Premiere)
This show really surprised me with it’s charm and humor. I should have expected it though considering the pilot was directed by Kevin Smith. If it can keep up the mix of laughs and light romantic drama, I think it will be good. I’ve always thought Bret Harrison is a great straight man for which ridiculous circumstances conspire against him. The supporting cast is kind of forgettable, but there’s room for them to be shown the spotlight. Recommended.
Grade: A-
Private Practice: In Which We Meet Addison, a Nice Girl From Somewhere Else (Series Premiere)
Once again, much like Grey’s Anatomy we have some rather preposterous medical situations which find ways to bring doctors and their patients and families together or whatever. Maybe this wasn’t the best way to showcase the characters, but as it had to reintroduce all the characters and their backstories/faults/quirks, it was a bit jammed. Hopefully it will find a reasonable pace, and not have to involve everyone in one episode.
Grade: B (for now)
Dirty Sexy Money: Pilot (Series Premiere)
Wow, that is a big clan of seriously horrible people. Yet even as horrible as they are, you still almost feel bad for them. What is going to be interesting is to see if Nick’s role as the moral compass will be set off-course by the rampant sinning he has to clean up after. Surprising me was the mystery surrounding his father’s death, which I hadn’t caught in reading/watching any previews of the show. It’s got me hooked. Plus I love Samaire Armstrong. As they say over at TWOP… Damn you, Berlanti.
Top Chef: Finale Pt. 1
Bionic Woman: Second Chances
I just wasn’t blown away by this. There were some neat special effects and it was cool to have some cameos by BSG people, but overall it suffered from a lack of… I can’t even quite put my finger on it, but it still needs something. There was definately some horrible dialog, and as one other reviewer said, it seems like Michelle Ryan is concentrating so hard on pulling off an American accent, she forgets she needs to emote. Maybe it will pick up, so I’m holding off on canceling it from my PVR, but at this point it’s the most likely to stay unwatched the night it airs, to be watched on the weekend perhaps.
Grade: C
